Professional Hotel Photography for Holiday Inn Express – Fishkill, NY
After they finished their renovation, the Holiday Inn Express – Fishkill, NY was ready for new hotel photography to show off all their hard work. We scheduled the hotel photo shoot during their renovation but ended up postponing. Hotel renovations rarely go as quickly as hoped. We all wanted to make sure that if we were driving to upstate New York to photograph their hotel, they were ready.
The owners of the hotel took care to review the IHG Photography Guidelines as well as the Photography Tips and Tricks that we shared with them ahead of time. One area they did a great job on was their exterior. We actually ended up delaying the photo shoot because they wanted to have their parking lot completed before we arrived. I am so glad that they waited because the newly paved parking lot looked so nice against the colors of the hotel.
We loved the contrast of the blue and white exterior. Some hotels just make our job easy and make it easy to capture beautiful shots. This was definitely one of those. The owners paid special attention to the landscaping and purchased potted mums to line the front of the hotel. They chose to add our aerial hotel photography and we were so happy they did. The aerial photos turned out so well that I ended up using one of their photos for the front page of our new website.
We thank everyone at the hotel who worked so hard to get ready for our arrival. We will certainly think of them each time we open our website and see the beautiful aerial twilight photo of their hotel! There is a reason that out of the 700 plus hotels we have photographed, I chose that one to be the first page a visitor to our website sees.
