We were honored that the Holiday Inn Express and Suites – Saugerties Hudson Valley NY chose Vision Quest Media to provide them with hotel photography for their brand new hotel. We always enjoy photographing Holiday Inn Expresses but this hotel is simply beautiful beyond the normal Formula Blue. The stacked stone and beautiful exterior lighting made for some beautiful shots.
What Made This Hotel Photo Shoot Unique
We had originally been scheduled to photograph the hotel earlier in the year but the COVID pandemic came along right when we were scheduled to travel. We all decided that it was best for us to wait until things were more stable so we were happy when we finally got to the point where we all felt it was safe to travel.
Mixing Business With Pleasure
The property is located in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains and directly next to the location of Woodstock ’94. Because we were still in the midst of COVID, we did not feel comfortable exploring the town of Saugerties however we did drive around to see the beautiful scenery. We sure hope that we can go back for a visit in the summer when things are more stable and we can enjoy the town and surrounding areas.
