We originally were scheduled to do the hotel photography for the new Staybridge Suites in Rock Hill, SC in the fall of 2018 but as often happens with new construction, that date kept being pushed back. We were excited when we got the word that the hotel was finally ready and we were able to schedule!!
Staybridge Suites are such a delightful hotels to photograph because of their clean lines and beautiful exteriors. This one was no exception. I am a huge fan of stacked stone and the front of the hotel, the fire pit and the breakfast all utilized the beautiful stacked stone. The decor is a hotel photographer’s dream because the colors are neutral yet stunning.
The team at the Staybridge Suites in Rock Hill did an excellent job preparing for their hotel photo shoot. The rooms were blocked off and the housekeeping staff had made the already beautiful rooms look pristine. We wanted to photograph multiple meeting room set ups so we started with theater style and then flipped to rounds. Once we got the room set for rounds, we decided to take it one step further and set and decorate the tables as they would for an event. We used black tablecloths with black linens and borrowed centerpieces from other areas of the hotel. The black and gray with the white china allows potential guests to imagine what their event could look like.
We were so lucky when it came time to do the twilight shots! The sky could not have been more beautiful that evening. The stacked stone fire pit against the dark blue sky was stunning and truly showed how inviting the outdoor patio area really is. We took more photographs of the hotel exterior because every time we thought we were finished the sky would turn to an even lovelier shade of blue.
