Professional Hotel Photography for Kingsley Inn – Ft. Madison, IA
We started our hospitality photography business by shooting bed and breakfasts on our first big cross country trip so we have an affinity for boutique inns and cool historic inns. When I saw Facebook posts that the Kingsley Inn in Ft. Madison, IA was under a big renovation, I got in touch with the manager, Chi and let her know that we would love to help them show off all their hard work once the renovation was completed.
As with many renovations, things did not go as quickly as they had hoped but once it was all complete, the end result was amazing. The inn has so much charm and is perfectly situated on the banks of the Mississippi River, near historic Fort Madison. They made the wise choice to add our aerial photography to the shoot which allowed us to capture the views of the river and the fort as well as to show off the quaint town. Even though we live about an hour away from Fort Madison, we did not know much about the history and the cool town. In addition to the fort, we enjoyed a great lunch at a nearby restaurant and enjoyed window shopping and exploring the local shops.
We were proud to be able to work with Chi and her team to capture images that show each unique room as well as the event space. Chi is an experienced event planner so when we suggested that she set the event space up to show how it could be used for a wedding or luncheon, she got right to work and transformed the space.
