Working with brand new managers is one of my favorite challenges! The GM at the Holiday Inn Express Bad Axe, MI was in training during our shoot and was nervous the whole time but she used those nerves to make things right for the shoot. We enjoyed our shoot and loved the feedback we got. The GM was on a training call with 30+ other new IHG managers and she made sure to share our information with everyone on the call because she said we were so easy to work with. That’s what we call a success!
It was COLD in Michigan and we did not pack our coats but that was not excuse to miss the beauty of Lake Huron. We drove up to Port Austin and Caseville for a little sightseeing. The visit was short because the wind was whipping but we awed by the beauty of the shoreline. We want to go back when it’s warmer and kayak to Turnip Rock so hopefully we get invited back to the area to photograph more hotels!
