We were honored that the Palm Suites and Crown Hospitality Management chose Vision Quest to photograph the Palm Suites. The property is so beautiful and we enjoyed working with representatives from Crown as well as the Home Owner’s Association in capturing just the shots they need to showcase their beautiful rooms.
What Made This Hotel Photo Shoot Unique
When we were hired by Crown Hotel Management to photograph the Palm Suites, we were warned that we would be dealing with multiple layers of expectations. While Crown manages the property, each suite at the property is individually owned and there is a HOA president who oversees the operations as well. With so many different parties, we knew that communication was key.
On our walkthrough the day before the shoot, the HOA president and I made a plan of which rooms would be most representative of the property. Because each room is individually owned, each room is uniquely decorated. In a situation like this, you don’t want to show only the very best rooms if that’s not what all of them look like. Luckily the HOA does a great job of setting expectations for decor so we had plenty to choose from.
In addition to the beautiful rooms, the location of this property is lovely. We were happy that they chose to add our aerial photography and video to really show off the area. The property is lovely but it is the location that makes this place outstanding.
Mixing Business with Pleasure
We celebrated my birthday on this trip and were so thankful that we were working with our friend Stephanie from Crown! Of course it would be fun to have the day off on your birthday but the second best thing is having a successful photo shoot and spending time with good people!
